This is so funny. There is an inside joke at the farm where my horse was born. The owner has every kind of animal you can think of, many of them living in her off-grid log cabin. There's an animal being born there most months of the year. She has two partners who come stay in the summer, and every time a new animal arrives and Christie wonders what to name it, the partners invariably insist the newcomer's name is Steve. It's gotten so that if you are connected to this farm community, like I am, and you post on FB your new puppy, kitten, sheep, foal, whatever and ask for name suggestions, you are going to be told to name it "Steve."
