Was this already posted? Sounds promising for a molecular form of PPE for COVID.

AmandaThat sounds FABULOUS!
(Don't know how I missed the link.)
Just a little confused about what it means to replace PPE. Someone using it, could avoid - what? Gloves, outerwear, goggles? (Assuming we'd still need to mask to protect other people.)
Trying to figure what other protective gear/behavior we'd still need to protect others. Like could someone using this protectant, not only protect the user from contagion but also prevent someone using it from transmitting the virus to others through the other equipement usually included in the term PPE? What about social distancing?
This would be awesome. For example, could a user skip that equipment and precautions and work out in a gym? Eat in a restaurant? Visit a sick relation/friend? Teach/study safely? (EDIT: undergo surgery?! Speaking as someone hoping - well, sort of - to have a major spinal revision surgery.)
