Strange - never heard of some of these in the states I’ve lived in either - though I’ve eaten lots of pasties - it’s an easy miner’s meal - and common in the UP of Michigan too.

I have never seen pelagic barnacles on a menu in Oregon, so I don’t know where that came from. They’re really pretty when they show up, but they’re small! I knew it would be geoducks for Washington!
