and to think we go through all this pain just to pay for corporations to incarcerate immigrant children and black men.
it's truly outrageous.
what if every last one of us said, "uh-uh, i'm not filing until you clean up your act. go ahead, put me in jail. how will you pay for it?"
they can't incarcerate every taxpayer in america anyway.

MikhailohNot to mention that they already have your money in most cases and you cant stop withholding.

Mary AnnaA late former in-law of mine was a polite, well-educated, upper-class, Quaker physician who refused to pay his taxes because of the Vietnam War.
He went to prison.
