Thank you Daniel!

Jodi, that does sound lovely!

One of these years, I want to start doing lights outside, like along the roof line. Not this year though. I made a rule not to buy any more Christmas decorations for a few years (since I have already accumulated so many ornaments). Soon though. Smiler

The whole room looks wonderfully Christmasy, SK! Nice work.

Haven't had a tree up for years, but am thinking the spirit may move me to put up the little artificial tree we have. I have the loveliest antique glass ornaments that my Mom collected over the years. Some are even older than I am!

Not decorating the outside anymore, but am glad to have neighbors that do. I have a great view of some nice lights that I can see out the living room window....

We have never decorated outside, but I love seeing lights at night at this time of year. Maybe next year or a few years out, we'll get some lights for outdoors. I like the roof-line ones or the ones that look like icicles. Smiler

Tree’s up! This is our little piano-top tree; it has a music theme on it; the trunk is wrapped with a ribbon score that says “Star of Wonder, star of Night, Star with Royal Beauty Bright.” It’s repeated around the base, too. We Three Kings!

The cats seem to be leaving it alone. I have some non-fragile ornaments on it, and I’ll see about adding more, now that I know that it’s not a temptation. Yet...

I haven't decorated the house for Christmas for several years, but decided that this year I will.

But I'm taking my time...Stage 1, the jigsaw puzzle is being worked on and the little tree is in its place, waiting for its ornaments...

The precious pimento collection. Vintage (tacky) Christmas trees and Mom's "Bah Humbug" candle:

I'll post a photo of the tree once it's decorated...

Doug, that tree is great!

Calvin re-decorated this morning.

The ornaments were swinging, and one of the menorahs and all the knitted animals/elves were scattered. There was a crash and the sound of a cat making a getaway.
