Cucumber, red onion, tomato, hummus, avocado, cheese (optional), sprouts on quality whole grain bread. Maybe mustard too.

Veering off topic, I had a great and unusual pizza from one of our local places.

Recently I tried their “Purple Rain” pie. Smoked mozzarella, bechamel, red onion, crimini mushrooms, tiny Peruvian peppers (sweet and tart) and scallions. It was lovely.

It’s fun to peruse the Specialty Pies on their menu.

Charcoal grilled meat is almost always better than baked, cooktop, etc. However, someone on the other page mentioned grilled lamb, and I completely agree.

What is it about grilled lamb that makes it so much better than non-grilled? Yummmmmmm

Great chili (no beans) with crusty hard rolls and butter, again a cold glass of milk.
