President-elect Joe Biden is expected to nominate Jake Sullivan as his national security adviser and Linda Thomas-Greenfield as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, multiple sources familiar with the plans told NBC News.
Jake Sullivan to be national security advisor, Biden also announced he will nominate Alejandro Mayorkas to lead the Department of Homeland Security and Avril Haines to be the director of national intelligence.

I had a couple of personal dealings with Steve Mnuchin during my late career.I found him to be way slimier than the average investment banker. Or maybe he was just part of the slimy 99% that gives the other one percent a bad name…
The only names on the list I recognize are Janet Yellen and John Kerry, , but Googling around I get the impression that these are all well qualified, experienced, practical people.
