Went to the dentist this morning. Getting ready to go pressure wash my deck and stain it in a couple days. Yuck.

I'm putting together a gym in the attic of our garage. It's a lot of weight up there - which makes me a little nervous. It will be nice to just step across the yard to my gym as opposed to getting in the car.

That would make me nervous too!! Mr. SK's weights etc are in our basement.

Could you (should you?) consult with a builder or engineer or something?

Unless plaster starts cracking, you should be fine. Maybe spread things out a little and keep the weight against outside walls.

Thinking more about this, I’m finding companies who offer a year round service. They cut grass in summer, clean gutters in fall, plow the drive in winter and pressure wash the house/clean windows in spring. Seems like a win win for everyone.

Is this a thing?
