AxtremusSeeing the superbloom from space!
https://www.sanluisobispo.com/...rticle274215025.htmlThough I suspect it's not all due to the magnitude of the superbloom, but also due to improved optics and photography technology launched into space.

Steve MillerWith all that rain I’ll bet it was spectacular!
Sorry I missed it.
Meanwhile, here in Hooterville, the spring bloom is in full swing! I’ve learned it doesn’t last long but it’s pretty cool.
My street tree, some kind of pear, has lots of flowers and the dead Rhododendron I got at 80% off in September, has come back this year and is covered in beautiful purple blooms. Daffodils are everywhere - even vacant lots!
Best are the forsythia. They look like hell all winter and are unremarkable in the summer, but when they bloom they’re spectacular! Bright yellow covers the entire bush.
I put off any landscape projects until I could see how things work here. Time to plant, and Sharon has decided the front yard needs to be blue (of all things), yellow and white. I’ve never seen it but I’m all for it.
Let’s see how it goes.
