Don got a kitten at the pound this morning.
He named him Monkey.

The kitten is on the sofa behind a cello in a case.
Will be returning the cello. After one of the surgeries on my right shoulder surgery one tendon did not reattach. It is gone. That is the tendon cello players must have.

Bummer about the shoulder and the cello.

We had a cat named Mynkie. Name came from this scene in The Return of the Pink Panther...

May the kitty bring you new joys as you let go of others...Life is like that.

I am so sorry for your loss but hopeful for your new addition to the family.

I saw a video where a rock band guy plays the cello strapped over his shoulder like a guitar. I made a note to post it for Chas but now I can’t find it. Frowner

Having to quit the cello was bad, but I am already considering a viola.

Have you considered trying to play the cello on the other side? Bow in the left hand?

I don't think I could.

The violin, viola, and cello have bass bars inside on the side of the bass strings. I think going left handed would require a custom build.

But wait, I will try it after Bob finishes his online exercise class.

Tried that. Then I went upstairs and put my pants on backwards.
Will have to sleep with my head on the other end of the bed tonight. Could be confusing if I need to get up during the night.
