Buttigieg Plays Rhapsody in Blue

Alas, no video. I love the line,

Is that a serious question?

There is a YouTube video of Mayor Pete playing the piano with the South Bend orchestra, but not the Gershwin piece and from 2015: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MPjoYhtk-sg

Why is there no YouTube video of the Mayor's Rhapsody in Blue performance? I think I can only fault whoever owns the copyright for Rhapsody in Blue for that.

Well, yes. Thank you for the video.

I don't see him becoming POTUS. Do you?

He's on a roll lately. He's personable, charismatic, polite, nice, and wicked smart. Don't count him out. If not in 2020, perhaps in the future.

I don't know that he really intends to win in 2020. But he has definitely put himself squarely on the national stage. As you said, wicked smart.

My idea of who the obvious choice is has been thrown out the window over the past 20 years. Could any of us have predicted Bill Clinton, Obama, Bernie Sanders or Trump?

I wouldn't dismiss anyone at this point.

Besides, we all know what damage a simple brain spasm can do in the "debate" portion of our pageant.

Very likable but I agree, maybe for the future.
