Jon, where do you go for your boosters? Do you have "early access" or something? I've gotten all my boosters at CVS so far, although I got to Walgreens for my flu shots.

Oops, nevermind. Just an email from Walgreens, they have the new one.

As I understand it, when the bivalent booster(s) was/were approved, the CDC rescinded the authorization for the old boosters. If someone is unvaccinated, they get the original(s), but all boosters are the new formula. They were distributing the bivalent booster in anticipation of approval, so I thought most pharmacies already had it. Just a matter of getting an appointment.

I asked about location because when we got all of our previous shots, CVS had them but the local Walgreens didn't. Now that I'm no longer working from home, CVS is less convenient so I was wondering when the local Walgreens would have them, but now it seems to be a non-issue. And, after all that, I'm probably going to wait a bit anyway because I need to get past a few deadlines before I risk another round of vax-side effects, which were esp. bad after I got the booster.
