We haven't watched the final episode yet, so no spoilers! My son's band recorded a cover of the theme to The Mandalorian and it made me smile, so I'm sharing it. As before, it's metal, so it's bombastic, but there's no screaming this time. Just guitars, drums, and electronic magic. I really like their arrangement. There's no video, so alas, there is no grandchild participation this time.

Ha! I agree as to the prequel trilogy, and the sequel trilogy was spotty, but I actually like Rogue One for themselves. I wish Jim Henson had lived to see Baby Yoda/Grogu. That is an amazing puppet.

So, I just realized, I do not know the original. But their arrangement is very polished and professional! Do they do their own mixing/after production?

Yes. I'm pretty sure one of his bandmates does some work as a freelance sound engineer, and I think Michael works with him on their songs.

I got Disney + yesterday and saw the first episode on The Mandalorian. It is a western in space drag. Will be watching more of that. Have been playing the mandolin. I am now The Mandolinian.
