New technique to create potentially endless source of fresh water
As I'm sure we are all aware, fresh water is in increasingly limited supply. This penalizes the poorest nations most of all. With climate change, the shortage is due to worsen ever more.

If this incredible sounding breakthrough works, it would be a major step forward in allowing our species to survive.
