I need to get some gloves. I busted out my old ski gloves and they’re warm enough but too bulky for driving, etc.

What are the cool kids wearing these days?

I found some knit thermal ones that still work with a touchscreen that turned out to be surprisingly warm. I also like leather ones with Thinsulate insulation.

Don’t know what to tell you. I have lightweight gloves for mild weather, heavier gloves for colder weather, and serious mittens (bought in Vermont) for 20 and below. The mild-weather gloves claim to be touchscreen sensitive but it seems to be a lie.

I hadn’t thought about touch screens. I’ll have to test them when I shop.

We have a million different pairs. Mittens too. I usually have at least two pair floating around my car. I like the cross country ski kind for errands, they are easy to drive in but not really warm enough if it’s super cold. Swix, black diamond brands. Several others.

I see Black Diamond makes gloves called “Screentouch”. Those sound like what I want. Now to find them in XL - always a good trick.

Mittens are warmer than gloves, because your fingers keep each other warm! Bernie has the right idea.
