I prefer “Gangster of Love”, myself.

Registration name, then, is “Steve, Gangster of love.”

We are on top of cat names since we are getting another one Saturday. Her name will be Stella, so we will have Stella and Luna.

Thank you for all the suggestions! I don't know why we are having such a hard time but nothing quite seems to suit him. Some names that we like like Linus and Gatsby and Albus just don't sound right when we call them out loud. And we are trying to pick a name that our four family members can agree on which is not easy. Steve is actually a contender albeit a distant one. It was the name of a cat we liked but did not end up adopting. We've also added Dewey to the mix. Our current contenders are oliver (Ollie), Dewey, Phineas, and maybe Charlie and Steve....maybe Edwin, Ozzie (Oswald?), or Mozzie too. We were trying to call him Linus but it just doesn't seem to roll off the tongue. And the problem with the rest of the names is that somebody in our family hates every single one of them. There is no name that we can all get behind LOL.

Mik... Stella is beautiful!

She's a cutie!

My first cat was a calico. My college housemates and I rescued Boo-boo when we moved and left our alcoholic, neurotic housemate behind. He cared not one whit.

Then I adopted Fred and Ginger. Fred was a tuxedo and Ginger was a calico with ginger color patches like Stella has.

Cocoa is a tortoiseshell or tri-color or whatever you want to call it. She's like a calico with no white. She has a calico personality.

How about Moxie? It means determination; also a bitter soft drink from Maine.
