Ms. Google has played me a few more pieces that I really like, I found music for them all, but so far have only purchased two of them (via Musicnotes) this one:
And then this one is by a Japanese composer (Takeshi Yoshimatsu) from the 50’s I think, I can only find the music in a book on Amazon and it’s kind of expensive, so I haven’t purchased it yet, but I really, really like it.
I love Philip Wesley, I think I actually purchase the whole (digital) album from Dark Night of the Soul. Here's one by him, New Day, that I played (although it's fallen from my fingers at the moment). Actually, this was one of the pieces I played while piano shopping, it was really nice to to evaluate a piano's tone.
I just listened to A Beginning by Ryan Stewart right now, beautiful piece! Maybe I'll get the score for that as well... Are you going to play it?
Re the Japanese piece, I've never heard of the composer... This one sounds more difficult... I found the Japanese name for this piece and the works it's from, so I poked around on some Japanese websites but I couldn't find anywhere that had it available as a digital download. I found this book, which would be $20-ish in Japan, but the international shipping adds another $20 to the price.
Do you have access to a university library? You could use the ISBN and see if there are any libraries in the US that would lend it to you (You'd be surprised at the things you can get that way!)
ISBN: 978-4276436558
By the way, Dance Toward East is 東に向かう舞曲 (プレイアデス舞曲集 4 Op.50) in Japanese, so it's Opus 50 if that ever helps you.
Ah, it looks like UC-Santa Barbara, U-Nevada, and Julliard might have his scores...
One more BTW: I've been "learning" jazz and blues styles and having fun "improvising" (such as it is).
Here's the piece I found as a digital download from a Japanese site. It's the "theme" song for a cartoon dog on a Japanese children show, and as you can imagine, the dog bounces in to this tune!
Really like both pieces you shared - the dog one is cute, and I like the Wesley one too, I will have to check out more of his music. Thanks for suggesting the libraries - I don’t know if Steve can access that for me or not - I’ll have to ask. (I may just buy the music). Yes, I started playing the Ryan Stewart piece, it’s not terribly difficult, lots of arpeggio practice with the left hand - but it’s not too bad if you go slowly.

You’ll have to let me know if you get ahold of the Yoshimatsu piece. Or if you get desperate and want my help!
I have a few other pieces I’ve got ready to go, I’m thinking I’ll try to record something for the ABF recital next month. I’ll share if I do
