Sounds like we’re all in accord! Having someone new in her life doesn’t mean she loved Dave any less. The new person isn’t a replacement. And love isn’t a zero sum game.

But life is for the living, and she should have some happiness, even though she’ll miss Dave every single day.

A friend of mine has a 96 year old dad who is dating after 65 years of marriage to her mom. He's also traveling all over the world.
