Skeew!

This post belongs in the “What Are You Reading” thread, but I think it’s important enough to have it’s own. Forget sellout J. D. Vance - if you want to understand what’s going on this is the book you need to read.

The principal author is Trae Crowder - The Liberal Redneck. I think some of you like his stuff. He has two other writers contributing and they are part of his comedy tour. Yeah, they play it for laughs - until they don’t. Yikes!

It’s a shame it’s written the way it is - too many F-bombs and a little too crude, but these guys know their subject and lay it out as no scholarly compendium ever could. They’re young and view the world through bands you don’t care about but they’re telling the truth.

Clean it up and make it required reading at every high school and college in the country, and fer chrissake send a copy to Megan McArdle.

As the boys would say, it HITS.
