My view, pretty much.

Totally agree, and it happens everywhere. I see it on campus a lot, where men are referred to as Dr. Smith, while their female colleagues are referred to by their first name.

And, in other news, Trump caved and agreed to delay the SOTU, allowing that her request is "her prerogative." Since the tweet contained decent grammar and big words, spelled correctly, I can only assume we'll hear from the actual POTUS later on, perhaps around 2 a.m.

Yeah, and no all caps. I said the same thing to Mary Anna. Someone wrote it for him. No way in hell that man could spell "prerogative" even with a dictionary.

I think it's a little different, myself, and it can be summed up in the basic Israeli principle:

We Do Not Negotiate With Terrorists.

Trump is holding almost a million federal workers, plus who knows how many government contractors, millions more food stamp recipients, people and companies who need the services of the U.S. government, and in fact the entire U.S. economy hostage to his demand for a border wall.

We do not negotiate with terrorists.
