Generation X, FTW! Razzer

More seriousy,, whatever happened to Y and Z?

You almost never hear about X, Y, and Z, actually.

I think this is kind of strange.

Baby Boomers and Millenials are what we hear about constantly.

Thoughts?

Isn't "generation y" actually the millennial generation?

Anyway, as to your question, I don't have too many thoughts about this in general. Based on my experience with my students, I think a lot of the stuff about Millennials is definitely exaggerated...

Also, re Gen X I'm not sure how helpful it is to treat as a cohort people who might have been born 20 years apart (which is what gen x does, because the range is something like 1965-1985 IIRC)

Thanks, SK.

In the media, we hear about the WWI generation, the WWII generation, the Baby Boomers, generations X, Y, and Z, and Millenials.

We almost never hear about X, Y, and Z.

I'm Gen X. My parents were Baby Boomers.

All we hear about, for the most part, in the media, are Baby Boomers and Millenials.

The "old" and the "young"?

This seems strange to me.
