Do you drink tap or bottled water?

I've been drinking bottled water.

Apparently hard water is a requirement for this boiling technique.

I don't know if I have hard water.

I'm thinking this over.

Your thoughts?

Your water company can tell you how hard your water is. You can also tell by how much mineral buildup you get on drinking glasses and your shower door.

Amazon sells test kits.

If your coffee pot needs decalcifying occasionally you have hard water.
Much of Florida is on limestone, that makes for hard water.
Call the local water system and ask. Look for a page on the web.
Call an aquarium store.

My water comes from my 200ft deep well and it is hard water. Good flavor, but it's high in calcium or something: It makes my houseplant leaves turn yellow. So some years ago I purchased a stove-top distiller and use that for watering the plants. I'm sure it's potable but probably not as satisfying as the hard water.

Water that is hard is better for one's bones.
Neutral PH or soft water without calcium will leach calcium from your bones.

I'm putting this on my list see to research soon.

Thanks, everyone.

Off topic, but I got my first shingles vaccine yesterday.

My arm is very sore and I feel almost like I have the flu. Yesterday I had trouble waking a straight line without getting dizzy. I passed out for some much needed sleep. Today I feel better but my arm still hurts
hurts.

I get my second one in two months.

No big deal.
