I didn't know him. But the organization he was associated with, Lutheran Church Charities Comfort Dogs, is near and dear to my heart.
Mom and some comfort friends:
Rich died of COVID. He was 68.

NinaI'm so sorry. On an unfortunately related note, my kids' clarinet teacher when they were in Arizona was engaged (for the first time, important because she is in her 40s) on October 6th. Her 47-year old fiancee died of Covid two days ago.
I'm losing it with the anti-maskers, anti-vaxxers and "it's just a flu" people. I'm really losing it with the people who feel that it's more important for them to have the "freedom" to not wear a mask than it is to save people's lives.
I'm wondering how many of these keyboard warriors would be willing to tell our friend that "it's just a flu," "people die of the flu all the time," and "I'm not letting people tell me what to do," etc., etc.
