Lost a friend to Covid. Went through elementary through high school with him.
He was vaccinated. Don't know whether he was in ill health before he got the virus.

And yes, it is scary that he had been fully vaccinated. (Any indication as to the variant? Have read that Lamda appears to be resistent to the vaccine.)
