CHASSaw Don today. He is better
Drove two hours west to Rifle, Colorado to see Don today.
The hip fracture required them to dig into a lot of flesh. Despite the Dilaudid the pain is obvious in his face and his speech.
He can get around with a walker. He managed two steps down coming out of his sister's place and
we went to a Mexican restaurant.
We left him at his sister's. She will be working from home this week. He is taking blood thinners and a fall could be disastrous.
It will be a while before he can come home and get to his third floor bedroom.

Mary AnnaThis sounds awful for him, but I'm so glad he's better and that he'll eventually be home.
Hugs to you both...

Steve MillerYikes! That’s a hard way to go!
From what you’ve said before I get the impression he’s pretty tough and will get through this, but please let him know that there are people all over the country who are pulling for him.
Godspeed!
