WTFers have always been ever so generous and for that I have been so grateful. You all have helped out with MdL, with Peggy's grandchildren and lots of other causes.

As you all know, I have changed jobs to work in a nonprofit in my community. (Best job, evah!). We, Mill City Grows, are a food justice org that provides fresh, locally (urban!) grown produce to folks on food assistance via mobile markets, sets up school gardens in half the public schools, has seven community gardens in various neighborhoods on otherwise unusable lots in my fair city of Lowell Mass.

As is part of the job, we all participate in raising money at the end of the year as most nonprofits do.

We have big things in the works for 2020. Part of our office space is now under construction to renovate an old abandoned methadone clinic into a commercial kitchen where we will be able to host family cooking classes right on sight.

I hope that you will consider a donation to Mill City Grows with this link and join me in nurturing a healthier community.
