And I can see why. Wednesday night a thunderstorm came through that flooded roads and shook houses so hard that one guy told me his kids fell out of bed! Yesterday it was 75 degrees at 7 PM, high today is 75, but by 5 PM another storm is forecast to drop the temp by 30 degrees with lightning and thunder to boot. Wild!

True, true. You can absolutely experience all 4 seasons in one day out here. But..... No earthquakes. No landslides. No wildfires.

Jeff just got a “severe thunderstorm” warning in his phone. I’m surprised so few houses have lightning rods. Watching the storm roll in is very cool.

I was going to ask if you were out near the lake. A storm coming in over one of the Great Lakes is totally cool.....especially if you're sitting in your house with a fire roaring in the fireplace....but it's pretty awesome even if you're on the lakefront just taking it all in.

Well, this storm was kind of a bust. A little lightning, one good thunderclap and a little rain. Still fun to watch from the porch.

Lol. One of Quintin Crisp's famous quotes was, "Nobody talks to me about the weather." He took pride in that. People always talk to me about the weather. I don't generally mind. Sometimes I bring it up. But 99% of the time the weather seems to be, "perfect" or "beautiful." Come on, people. I've experienced enough weather to know that can't possibly be true.
