Addressing the root causes of gun violence with American Rescue Plan funds: Lessons from state and local governments

As I watch the news at night and almost always hear of the occurrence of yet another shooting or shootings, I've wondered why they are on the rise and what might prevent them. This paper seems to have some answers beyond the knee-jerk lock-'em-all up reaction of some people.
