I peel carrots most of the time, but don't peel potatoes unless it would look ugly not to (like if I'm making a "nice" cream of potato soup, as opposed to a "hearty" one). I've never heard that potato skins were bad for you. In fact, I've herd the opposite. Besides, it's my favorite part of the potato!

I read these responses yesterday as I was sitting in the waiting area in the Urology Dept of Northwestern Medicine. Big Grin

(thread drift....Mr wtg was in for a six month checkup and got a great report. Yay!

And... the university still requires masks everywhere. And they enforce it. A couple of people came in for their appointments unmasked despite numerous signs that say "Mask required". Staff came over immediately, mask in hand, and asked them to put it on. I'm pretty sure they would have refused to let them see the doctor if they didn't comply....)
