Dishwasher soap
The water here is very hard, especially when they switch from wells to to Colorado River water. In the past we've had to use rinse agents to keep the glassware from being destroyed in the dishwasher.

Found a new detergent that completely solves the problem. It's made by "Lemishine", who made only rinse agent in the past. This new detergent must have the rinse agent already in it because it works very, very well.

It's not inexpensive, and if your water is soft enough you probably don't need it, but it might be worth a shot if water spots are an issue at your house.

Lemishine Dishwasher Pods.

This would have been a godsend when I was in Arizona. We bought the Costco-sized rinse agents, and you'd immediately notice when the reservoir in the dishwasher was empty.
