Wholesale reformatting/re-encoding of the digitized content.
We still suck at backward compatibility for executable software, but we're quite good at backward compatibility for most digitized media content now.

NinaI thought all presidential libraries were private? I may have missed something, but I don't see what the big deal is here.
As a researcher, I would far prefer access to digitized information. I assume they will scan documents as well. And there's no guarantee that the documents given to any presidential library haven't already been edited/redacted and the salacious, illegal or otherwise juicy items deep-sixed. There's nothing about paper that says, "oh wow, this absolutely has to go to my presidential library."
What am I missing?

AmandaCan't help immediately associating to the natural difficulties of EVER putting together a Trump presidential library.
I mean, really, what? Digitized or not, a monumental megillah of tweets?
