Westchester now at 121. More than 10% of the US total right here in my little suburban county.

New York state now has more cases than any other state in the U.S. as the number of newly confirmed infections surged by 30% overnight to 421, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Friday.

“This is not going to be a quick situation. This is going to be weeks, months,” Cuomo said at a press conference in Albany, N.Y. “My guess is there are thousands and thousands of cases walking around the state of New York.”

On Friday, the cluster of cases in New York surpassed Washington state for the first time, Cuomo said, adding that there are 420 confirmed infections in Washington.

Jon, what's going on now close to you? Our daughter and fiance in Jersey City said they heard a lot at first, then not much.

They thought they heard Lockdown, as in food being delivered by national guard kindof lockdown. No one allowed out of houses??

No I don’t think so. More like non essential stores are closed and you’re supposed to avoid groups of 10 or more.

It's starting to pop up all over my county in Virginia. The gym I go to just reported that two of their employees tested positive, thought I was out of town for the time frame of likely exposure. Now I hear that someone in one of the local retirement communities has it. These people didn't get it from an immaculate infection, so there must be plenty of other undiagnosed carriers.
