Cut my own hair.

It's not half bad from the front. I couldn't see the back very well as I don't have a hand mirror. But I'm told it's not horrible.

Got clippers.
Thanks for the warning about a shortage.

I keep letting it get a bit longer. Not bold enough yet.

I cut the hair around my ears for the 3rd time this morning:

Next time, I am going to have Mr SK do the back. Otherwise, I'm on my way to a mullet. :P

Looks quite good, SK.

My beard is getting pretty long. If I can't see my barber within the next few weeks, I'll have to do something, maybe run clippers through it with the longest available comb on the clipper head.

The last time I tried trimming my beard myself in 1974, I made such a mess of it trying to get it symmetrical that I ended up cutting it off entirely, just leaving my mustache, and then growing it back a few months later. It's never been off my face and I haven't trimmed it myself since then.

Thanks Big Al! I was starting to look like Elvis, so this is an improvement.
I'm surprised bread trimming is so hard, I had no idea!

Clippers are supposed to arrive tomorrow, and then it’s just a matter of getting up the courage (or desperation?) to do Mr. AM’s hair. It doesn’t look all that bad yet.

I was just thinking to myself 2 days ago, “My haircut is holding up pretty well!” Then I went for a walk in the misty almost rain yesterday, and came home to find that one side of my head hat a Gidget-style flip. Or was it more Marlo Thomas That Girl?

I’ll report back on the buzz for Mr. AM. He says his haircutter usually does the top with scissors, but I don’t know what that means as far as my skill-set.

ROTFLMAO

Thinking I could do a mullet, which should be easy because I could let the back grow. Smiler
