A local distillery is offering free hand sanitizer, using the “heads” from their distilling process. (Not usable for drinking, but high proof)

We walked down there yesterday in the cold blustery sunshine, and picked some up (one per person). We also bought a gift certificate, because we didn’t want to stay (social distancing), but the place was hopping! That may change soon; Oregon’s governor is deciding whether to shut down/restrict restaurants, bars, and other gathering places. We’ll know at 10 a.m. here.

Great PR, and a nice service, too. They’ve definitely gotten a lot of press attention.
