I play organ at a little church on Sundays (it’s a little extra cash) and there’s one guy in his 80s there who has been through multiple cancer surgeries and chemo for years. He should be dead by now. Except that he is the most cantankerous SOB you ever met. He always has some acidic wisecrack for me when I arrive.
