We were at a Costco today that isn't our nearby Mount Prospect location. We were just around corner from the Niles warehouse and decided to pop in. It's only 25 minutes away, but the product selection is quite different. We love to walk up and down the aisles and find new items that aren't likely to show up at our warehouse. Sadly, they were out of the delicious challah I bought there a few months ago. And I was tempted by, but ultimately took a pass on the sake collection (six smaller bottles of various types for $50). Here are some of the more interesting (to us) items we encountered. We bought one of them. Your job, should you decide to accept it, is to guess which one found its way to our house. #1 #2 #3 #4 #5 #6 #7

We used to eat White Rabbit candy when I was a kid. Very very sweet! I want the goat cubes. I’ve bought the Chinese sausage before, but I actually prefer it in smaller packages; I don’t use it enough to want to buy a big package. I hear that the shredded pork is a great condiment/topping on things, but I’ve never had it. What did you buy? I’m guessing sticky toffee pudding. I’m craving dessert!

Well, this Lithuanian has had goat curry at an Indian restaurant. But goat is not part of Lithuanian cuisine. The curry was good but as I recall there were lots of small bones. So no goat cubes.
We have two winners,, AdagioM and Dan! I fell in love with sticky toffee pudding on a trip to England. It was served at a lovely bed and breakfast I stayed at in Yorkshire. We actually bought some of this product when Costco had it a couple of years ago. It is quite good, so I was thrilled to see it back in stock for the holidays. Here's a recipe for it from Auntie Beeb: https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/re...ticky-toffee-pudding

Do we win sticky toffee pudding? Actually, I need to make a Costco run tomorrow. I couldn’t remember what it was that I needed to buy, until I read our church newsletter. Socks, underwear, and gloves for donation to houseless shelter. While I’m at Costco: Kirkland prosecco and gasoline…GO!
