Thanks. Good info.

I have access to Apple TV through Family Sharing, but I've never checked out their programming. Any suggestions?

Just!? I would never.

I am fortunate to be able to satisfy my entertainment needs through YouTube. Ad free thanks to AdBlock+. (And no, I don't have guilt over it. If ad-sponsored enterprises were reasonable I might go along, but they're not; they're greedy. So tough; Ad block it is.) I support the creators I watch by patronizing their channels. And yes, it costs more than streaming (but no where near $100 a month!) but I love what I get for it: real reality tv on matters that are meaningful to me.

Gosh, I remember the days of 2 tv stations (3 if someone went out and turned the antenna, and we got lucky) where the content took precedence (or was at least on equal footing) over the advertising. And it was free. And we were entertained (esp. when PBS came on air).

It wasn't clearly stated, but the way I read the article, the $100 was for a year rather than for a month. I think that takes into account only subscribing to some channels for a few months when there is a great deal, doing an annual subscription, and getting rebates or free subscriptions from outside entities.

I second Ted Lasso and Shrinking. We also enjoyed Hijack, Severance (so weird), Tetris, Slow Horses, Invasion, Mythic Quest, and Shining Girls.

Shrinking lost me when the protagonist threw up on a grand piano. I'll never be able to unsee that.
