Actually, I find it intriguing that the burden of care, such as it is, has been placed on the "abled," who have to mind the change from step to ramp as they ascend.

Big burden is on the wheelchair bound person who would have to use such a dangerous setup.

They almost razed it due to its danger, but kept it for its architectural significance.


Those things have handrails for a reason.
