Pelosi seizing on the $2k demand isn't what is stopping the relief bill--it's Trump walking away from the deal and leaving it unsigned and unvetoed while he goes off to play golf. He cruelly and deliberately put it in limbo. Yes, to hurt McConnell. And if the upshot of this is that the Democrats win the Georgia senate runoffs, it will have been worth it to unseat McConnell.
