Adapted from a Valliant comic, it’s a heart pumping sci-fi action film with lots of nanotechnology fantasies rendered through computer graphics. A bit like Iron Man but less funny and maybe more predictable, thinner on character development, and lighter on philosophy. A bit like Hobbs and Shaw and the Six Million Dollar Man with the tech-enhanced human bit, just that the tech-enhanced guy in Bloodshot is the good guy manipulated like the Gemini Man.

It’s good entertainment, but not sure how it would have done in the box office even if there were no pandemic. It has Vin Diesel but without the franchise power of Fast and Furious (so it would most likely lag behind Hobbs and Shaw anyway), and as good an action star Vin Diesel is, his star power probably cannot match Will Smith’s (so it might also lag behind Gemini Man).

That’s the last movie I watched before the state shutdown all movie theaters due to the pandemic.
