He's growing up
We just got back from his physical.

He was measured at 60.25 in. That's a hair over 5 ft! Rachel's only 5'2".

He turned 11 in June.

Jon do you think he'll be taller than you??

My niece will be 10 next month, she's definitely going to be taller than my sister in law. Smiler

I doubt it. The men on my wife’s side aren’t tall.

I suspect he’ll top out at 6’. I topped out at 6’3”.

That's quite a height! What percentile does that put him in?

A close friend is in a state of shock after her 13 year old son (who just began 7th grade) bought his first bottle of deoderant yesterday. Eeker

There are a lot of changes ahead!

Funny you should mention that. I got him deodorant about three weeks ago and boy did he need it! He’s starting 6th.

His height is 85th %ile.

I didn't have brothers and watching my son in sixth grade really startled me. I didn't expect the growing-up to happen so soon. He even started getting a mustache that year.

Then, over the middle school years, it was like I could see him growing as he approached my height and then left me in the dust.
