It was in the 70s today. The high for tomorrow will be in the mid-30s. In between there are lots of storms brewing. Tornados, hail, wind. Did I mention I hate storms?

A tornado warning was issued here a few minutes ago and the sirens are sounding. Time to head downstairs I think.

Warning expired but the moderate winds are here and we're getting pea-sized hail. Continuous rolling thunder. This is so weird to be happening this time of year.

Did you make it through night WTG? We had a tornado watch all night, but (to my knowledge) no warning. A couple times the wind was crazy, and there was a severe thunderstorm warning (my phone woke me up for that) but if there was any actual thunder, I didn’t hear it. Whew.

It's 29 degrees out there and wind chills are in the teens. A far cry from yesterday's sunny 70s. We did fine, though some other suburbs had tornados and a fair bit of damage. The storms were out of here a bit after 9. The winds kicked up sometime during the night (though I slept soundly and didn't hear them) and will continue throughout the day. I ordered some planter boxes for the garden and they arrived yesterday. I'm itching to get them set up but I can wait for the warm-up that is predicted for the weekend.

Quite similar here right now, and supposed to continue getting colder throughout the day.
Glad to hear you were ok. Hopefully the other damage elsewhere wasn't too too bad...

Friends were flying home to Chicago, and diverted to STL after circling for a while. Sounds like a rough night!

Same here. 40 degrees colder than yesterday with a lot of wind. No rain though, despite the forecast. Looks like the storm went around us.
