I saw this haiku on the sidewalk while I was walking today.

On campus today.

It was a very warm day and I saw these sheep huddled under a small patch of shade from a tree.

I would have thought it would be cooler separated, even if in the sun, than so close to each other in the shade.

I guess with sheep, it's strictly "misery loves company" rather than logic. (Also fear of being an outlier, in case something bad might happen, if they deviate from the norm).

I have seen this before today, but I just noticed it today....

The handle on the door to my office and the thingamabob behind it to protect the wall.

Let's hope I never open the door too quickly or too hard!

At first I walked right over it, and then I thought, "I wonder what that said?" Glad I stopped to check! Sweet.

These Hibiscus are HUGE!

And mass planted against a wall in front of the home. I pass them each year and finally today stopped to take some photos.

Have no idea why they are blurry - they are not on the uploaded photos.

Yesterday, on my monthly trip to NY. This stunning church -- in my old neighborhood, across the street from the friend I stayed with -- is for sale. What a fantasy that would be!!

ETA: It's a historic landmark and is on the National Register. Nothing could ever be done to alter the facade. That might be why it's a hard sell. St. Elias
