AdagioMToday I saw...
I saw this haiku on the sidewalk while I was walking today.

Rick ZimmerOn campus today.
It was a very warm day and I saw these sheep huddled under a small patch of shade from a tree.
I would have thought it would be cooler separated, even if in the sun, than so close to each other in the shade.

I guess with sheep, it's strictly "misery loves company" rather than logic. (Also fear of being an outlier, in case something bad might happen, if they deviate from the norm).

Rick ZimmerI have seen this before today, but I just noticed it today....
The handle on the door to my office and the thingamabob behind it to protect the wall.
Let's hope I never open the door too quickly or too hard!

At first I walked right over it, and then I thought, "I wonder what that said?" Glad I stopped to check! Sweet.

LLThese Hibiscus are HUGE!
And mass planted against a wall in front of the home. I pass them each year and finally today stopped to take some photos.
Have no idea why they are blurry - they are not on the uploaded photos.

BernardYesterday, on my monthly trip to NY. This stunning church -- in my old neighborhood, across the street from the friend I stayed with -- is for sale. What a fantasy that would be!!
ETA: It's a historic landmark and is on the National Register. Nothing could ever be done to alter the facade. That might be why it's a hard sell.
