I will be 60 at the end of this year...

I had hoped for a layoff, but the nonprofit offer was too good to refuse..

So today I gave 2 week's notice..wow.....

I can officially say I have NEVER been let go...I have always gone for the golden ring when it came to me...

I will now be the Development Associate at Mill City Grows a local NonProfit I support already....My commute is walkable in good weather...I will be a more experienced member of the staff, something their HR consultant had encouraged as the staff now is very inexperienced and transient..

All my years as a volunteer at Montana de Luz prepared me for this job.

I am so grateful that the last years of my working life will be doing good in my community...
