Will set a record for snowfall on Halloween; only the fifth time during the 100+ years that weather records have been kept around here that there has been measurable snow.

Thinking we won't be seeing many kiddos today....it's not just snowing, it's windy *and* damn cold out there....

Very bad because most of the trees still have a lot of leaves. The wet heavy snow sticks to them, resulting in lots of broken branches. Happened yesterday to the south of us, and I expect we'll start seeing the same here pretty soon...

Blech.
