So Mr wtg had a new experience today
He got tested for COVID-19. He's having a procedure on Monday, and the hospital required a test within 48 hours of that procedure.

He said they did the roto-rooter collection procedure that jodi and mr jodi had. He survived but said it was not a comfortable experience.

Sample collected at 9:18 am and results were available at 10:28 am.

He's negative, which isn't too surprising as I'm the only one going out and I've been really careful when I get home.

Got the results via MyChart. They even tell you which test they used, which is kinda cool.

Glad it was negative, but sorry he had to go through it. Hope very much the procedure is successful and that the health problem that prompted it is under control.

Sharing some good news....

Mr wtg's urologist called a little while ago and said there was no cancer evident in the bladder biopsies he took. He'll have another series of BCG treatments in six weeks, and then gets six months off. That means he can fit in a hip replacement during that time off, and finally get some relief from all the pain in that hip.

Joy abounds in the wtg household....

My chart is the bee's knees. I've found it's great for all sorts of things, but in particular for those quick questions that you need answered (can you refill my prescription? is the clinic doing non-emergency procedures yet?, etc.). You can send an email and the doctor or their nurse will answer quickly, easily and on their own time.

The docs I know love that aspect of it.
