I bought two items:

Dishwasher detergent -- it is something that I use every few days, and it can last a long time as long as it is kept dry; so I stock up an extra bag.

Voltage converter -- it's just fortuitous timing; I will be visiting 220V land soon and the old one was busted, so I get a replacement.
