I just bought one of these and I'm really happy with it. Better value than any of the Prime deals I've seen and a much faster computer than I ever expected to own. New this unit was some $1200.

Had a look at the Prime Day offerings. They consist almost exclusively of gadgets that hoover up my personal data in exchange for some marginal convenience.

That was my impression as well. I also haven't seen any TVs for sale that seem like they are a better buy than the one we got (which of course is a relief!) although I think there may be some good TV sales for someone with different criteria.

Although there do seem to be some good sales on Instant Pots, I might ask Mr. SK if he wants one.

I lost a nice pair of headphones a week ago. I thought about replacing them, but decided to wait to see if they'd go on sale on Prime Day.

I ended up spending more on Prime day than I expected. Snagged a good deal on a Bluetooth speaker, a cool copper colored coffeemaker and a grill brush.

Now I need to turn off this computer so I don't go back and buy more stuff.

Dogs eat bristles from tasty grill brushes. We had trouble when the Welsh Terrier ate some.
