I use earmuffs while practicing. My piano’s hammers are so hard that they are harsh and loud. I will get a new action and hammers soon.

I had shearling earmuffs that I bought in the 1980s. Loved those things. I wore them up til about 5 years ago? They’re still in my closet. I liked them better than hats, which mess up my hair...

And no, not googling that meme! Ha.

I have ... ear bags? ear pods?? I can't remember what they're called but they go over your ears like a cover, but are not connected with anything. I love them!

They are called Earbags! (I thought I was remembering wrong). Some places call them "bandless earmuffs"

Anyway these things are awesome for not ruining a hairdo!
