From the photo of White Rose potatoes that I saw, they look like the white potatoes I used to buy for my Mom. I just called them "white potatoes".

Apparently White Rose potatoes are known under a bunch of names.

The only other white potato with which I'm familiar is the Kennebec. We used to by them in the autumn from a farm stand in Door County. They were delicious, and also decent keepers.
